OK so this is my last one on apostrophes for now and it’s quite a bossy one:
NEVER USE AN APOSTROPHE TO MAKE A PLURAL. ❌
EVER.
NEVER EVER.
🚫 DO NOT DO IT. 🚫
You know (because I have beautifully explained in my previous 2 ‘apostrophe posts’) that there are TWO reasons for using apostrophes.

Let me hear you say them……. 👂
✅ To indicate possession
✅ To indicate omission
I did NOT say 3 reasons.
❎ Do NOT use an apostrophe to make a plural:
The dogs all ran around. 🐕🦺🐩🐕
More than 1 dog = dogs. NO APOSTROPHE
The chips were really tasty. 🍟
NO APOSTROPHE
Hooooowever, when it comes to acronyms (e.g. CEO, CD, TV, DVD etc) SOME people in the know say it’s OK to have an apostrophe there (CD’s, TV’s etc).
I don’t like them. I don’t think they are necessary. I like to keep things simple:
CDs
TVs
CEOs
I have the training, experience and knowledge to use apostrophes correctly. I use them to help your text make sense.
